With extensive experience in building custom and bespoke websites, we've been helping clients access the true capabilities of WordPress since the platform first launched way back in 2003. This includes simple or multi-faceted web design, development and digital marketing from our offices in Chichester, West Sussex and Farringdon, London.
We combine the needs of your audience with the needs of your business to define the right digital experiences across all channels.
Our in-depth experience across the technology stack enables us to audit every stage of your audience journey.
Success depends on getting the right exposure, and we provide the marketing, optimisation and analysis to ensure your site delivers the right results.
You don’t need to understand code, WP is user-friendly, and it’s easy to update and add in new functionality – with literally thousands of available plugins.
It’s designed for easy integration with social media – across all channels!
Which is essential to making the most of your site, regardless of whether you're running a brochure site or an eCommerce business.
You want your site to be a business asset, and WordPress delivers. Everything from lead generation to business information across built in dashboards and comprehensive analytics.
Which basically means many of the themes and plugins are free, and this means lots of cost-effective options when we create your site.
Another great reason is the range of functionality you can incorporate. And related to above, it also means you can choose between pre-existing themes or bespoke designs.
As a trusted web agency, we'll ensure your site is mobile responsive, and accessible to admin from any computer at any time. And critically, WordPress sites also have a simple structure which means faster loading times, and happier visitors.
It's always being improved, and this also goes for security with constant updates to keep your site as safe as possible.
LEAP Create has been working with WordPress since 2003 and has over 25 years’ experience as a website design and development agency. This gives you confidence, and a significant advantage, in terms of platform expertise when selecting your next website agency partner.
WordPress is the industry standard content management platform with an estimated 30% websites on the internet running on it. It is also open source which means that you do not have to pay any licence fees.
Flexibility, ease of use and cost. Many users already have experience using WordPress so find it familiar when managing website content. Those who have not used WordPress before, will find it both simple and intuitive.
WordPress is a robust platform for developing marketing websites and we have built websites for many well known brands, and our WordPress solutions have all passed their strict security testing requirements. If your agency confidently understands its inner workings, and configures the platform in a secure manner, then it is a perfect choice for your website. We strongly suggest caution on using themes and third-party plugins written by external developers unless properly assessed and fully tested. It is important to ensure that WordPress is always kept up to date with the latest updates. It is only at the point your website needs to store personal user information that we would discuss alternative options that may be better suited to your requirements.
Bespoke sites offer more control and personalisation. A theme may appear to be a quicker route to getting a site live but can be bloated which affects performance, include features you don’t need, or be restrictive in terms of customisation. Furthermore, many themes are not well optimised for SEO and badly coded themes can lead to potential security risks. We would never recommend a theme and would always advise on creating a bespoke site with clean code.
To design and build a bespoke WordPress website varies greatly depending on the requirements – there is no ‘one size fits all’. Complexity or simplicity of design, level of functionality and total number of pages, all affect the overall cost.
We use a process called the 5D’s – Discover, Define, Design, Develop, Deliver. Our specialist digital project managers will be able to guide you through the process with detailed planning and communication. You don’t need experience in digital or design, you’re in safe hands.
Not necessarily. We will discuss your copy and content requirements in an initial consultation meeting. Some clients prefer to supply their own copy and content, but at LEAP Create we can help audit your existing content, create new messaging and write your website copy for you.
As part of the initial project scoping, we will help identify page templates, site components and content areas. We will set up the required site administrators and access levels to ensure the right people have the right access, whether this be updating content areas or creating new blog posts and news articles.
We will build your WordPress website using semantic markup and structure it using Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) best practice. All core SEO requirements can be included as part of the project build such as friendly URLs and XML sitemaps to ensure your website is correctly indexed in search engines.
