Collaborating to craft a luxury Employer Brand.

The outline.

With a proud 120-year history of exclusivity, individuality and luxury, Kempinski Hotels have an impressive international presence with 76 five-star hotels and residencies in 31 countries.

We partnered with employer brand experience consultancy, exaqueo, to develop an employer brand creative for the luxury hotel brand, design and build a careers website, create marketing material and produce a set of brand guidelines.

The challenge.

We had to ensure our creative approach would resonate across the diverse global markets Kempinski operates in. Our challenge was to marry the insights provided by exaqueo’s research with compelling visual design that complimented the company values and brand.

We needed to find personal stories that gave a human touch to Kempinski’s elegance and exclusivity, and offered a sense of life working at the company.

The solution.

The chosen concept ‘Crafted by You’ is a celebration of the people of Kempinski. Photo shoots across multiple hotels created a series of employee portraits in a high-quality editorial style and an employer brand video was edited by LEAP’s film and post team with music commissioned to work in harmony with the luxury brand.

The careers website showcased a thorough understanding of Kempinski’s key users, with personal employee stories highlighting what applicants could expect, and an integrated applicant tracking system to ensure a seamless user experience when they applied for roles.

The results.

The website provides easy navigation to global opportunities for a wide range of hospitality personnel, but also tells a story of timeless elegance and offers an invitation to join the people who create it. Its compelling offer and sumptuous visual impact gives users a 5 star experience.
