We’re ringing the changes for 2022 with a new focus, new faces and a new identity. As LEAP Create, we’re committed to being a People Communications Agency that lives up to its name, delivering imaginative campaigns that help you attract, recruit and retain the right talent for your business. And we’re on a mission to increase the numbers of women and under-represented groups in STEM roles through employer branding and recruitment marketing campaigns.
Sara MacGregor and Roger Cayless are heading up our relaunched agency as Managing Director and Group Creative Director. Sharing 18 years of LEAP experience between them, Sara and Roger bring a wealth of industry and management expertise, and have assembled a formidable team of talent with the backing of LEAP London, the UK’s leading creative services agency.
As Roger explains, our new direction looks to understand and embrace opportunities within the changing landscape we all find ourselves in:
“The pandemic has changed the way organisations are communicating with their employees, as well as the employment experience itself. People are working differently, whether this is home working or a hybrid of home and office work, and this offers a definite opportunity for companies to remake their culture. At the same time, there’s considerable pressure on HR teams to attract and retain the best people. So, employer branding is more important than ever. We felt now was the right time to reposition our own brand as LEAP Create, so we can focus 100% on helping organisations recruit women and under-represented groups into STEM roles in particular.”
Our recent work with CGI, exploring conscious and unconscious barriers that female candidates encounter, offers an inspiring example of the value that LEAP Create can add. Our qualitative research uncovered insights that drove communication changes in CGI’s recruitment process, from inclusive language to visible role models, resulting in a significant uplift in women engaging with recruitment campaigns. And we went further, producing a range of materials to support employee activity networks within the organisation, helping CGI to engineer a brighter future for women in the tech industry.
For Sara, this kind of full circle partnership shows the enormous benefits that LEAP Create’s collaborative approach can deliver:
“LEAP Chichester has been working behind the scenes, effecting change in many organisations on a white labelled basis for the past decade. Our success with clients such as CGI has convinced us that now is the right time to refresh, realign and refocus as LEAP Create, a People Communications Agency. We believe passionately in championing and realising diversity, equity and inclusion in recruitment, and we relish the opportunity to share our passion with new organisations and our existing clients.”
We will also be introducing LEAP Listens, a 15 minute bitesize podcast hosted by Roger and Sara, who will talk about key challenges in the employer branding and recruitment marketing space with special guests along the way.
As LEAP Create, we’re refreshed, refocused and raring to go. If you’ve got a project to discuss, would like to talk about your recruitment culture, or, after what’s been a pretty bruising year or two, could just use a hit of enthusiasm, drop us a line and let’s create something special.
